- Sorting and Organizing: We assist some organizations by categorizing their possessions into items to keep (often sentimental or valuable), donate, sell, recycle, or dispose of. This can be one of the most overwhelming tasks for a grieving family. There is no set time frame for completion; every family is unique.
- Physical Removal and Disposal: We will help handle the heavy lifting and removal of unwanted items, including furniture, appliances, personal belongings, mattresses, and general items that can not be used by someone else.
- Donation and Recycling: Many services prioritize eco-friendly disposal, working to donate usable items to charities and recycle materials whenever possible.
- Preparing the Property: Beyond just removing items, we will help with light cleaning, basic repairs, or even home staging to prepare the property for sale or a new occupant.
- Finding Important Documents/Valuables: We will assist in locating and setting aside essential documents (such as wills, deeds, and bank statements), valuable items, or cherished keepsakes that might otherwise be overlooked.
